Rachel Entrekin still leads the 2026 Cocodona 250 outright as the third day of racing tips into a third night, holding a two-mile cushion over Kilian Korth as the pair work their way through Sedona with roughly 100 miles to run. Entrekin took just five minutes at the Sedona aid station after 156 miles on her feet, sticking to a now-familiar pattern of fast in-and-outs that has kept her at the front of the entire field since Monday's Black Canyon City start.

Behind the two leaders the men's chase has reshuffled overnight. Cody Poskin, who began the third morning sitting outside the top five, surged through Dead Horse to move clear of Joe McConaughy and into third overall. Race trackers have Poskin around an hour back of Korth and roughly 15 minutes ahead of McConaughy, with the gap unsettled by varying aid-station stops as runners trade ground with sleep.

The mood at Sedona's Posse Grounds Park crew area was a study in contrasts. Korth spent extra minutes tending to his feet, eating and sitting before climbing back onto the course; Entrekin jogged through, took a fresh pack and was gone before her crew had finished restocking. With 100 miles still on the clock and the long Mogollon Rim climbs to come, the leaders are betting on movement over rest.

Further down the field, the men's top ten remains tight enough that any one bad climb on the Mingus Mountain ascent could rearrange the leaderboard. Several runners who built solid early splits in the desert have begun to lose minutes per mile to dehydration and accumulated cramp, with night-time temperatures finally giving way to warmer afternoons in the higher canyons.

Aravaipa Running's livestream and Trackleaders feed continue to update through the night. The women's leaderboard is the simpler picture: Entrekin's pace has held remarkably steady since the opening 24 hours, and only a self-inflicted error or a serious medical issue looks likely to interrupt her run on the overall course record. Flagstaff, the Cocodona finish line, sits beyond Mormon Lake and the long Walnut Canyon roll out, and is realistically two more nights of running away.
